Say Hi to our team

EmmajEmmaJ

Woolhouse Studios was started in 2009, I saw a gap in the market for sleek stylised photography in the music industry. From here, we grew into a company whose work can now be seen globally on billboards, in editorials, and in numerous advertising, commercial and music artist campaigns across the world.

My personal background as an ex-model and music producer has meant my life has always been enriched by both music and art. Our work is a mirror of all we see and feel. It is a heartbeat, a way of life. We create without compromise, we relish the darkness of photography and artwork, in the commercial arena we embrace the colourful visions of light and colour. The world of dark and light.

The signature of our work is said to be fearless and bold. We take the brief and we understand your focus. Our desire to constantly evolve in all we produce, means we will want to take seed of an idea, and grow it. Every job is personal to us. The hunger never goes away – the passion relentless. To those who have chosen to work with us, I salute you. To those we are yet to meet, we look forward to welcoming you to a studio where creativity runs free.

Laroache BrothersThe La Roache Brothers

There is something otherworldly about the LaRoache Brothers’ photographs, something theatrical and fantastical. Their eye provoking imagery has both soul and darkness to it that, when combined with great art direction and styling, offers remarkable fashion and beautiful photography.

The LaRoache Brothers are a London based duo comprised of Wolfgang Mustain and Laurence Edney.

Already well-established in the fashion and editorial industry, their work has been published in 125 Magazine, Wig, Schön Magazine, Glass Magazine, Poster Magazine, Esquire, Dazed and Confused, FHM Collections Magazine, Interview, ES Magazine and Sunday Times Magazine, amongst others.

They have already shot advertising campaigns for clients including Tony and Guy, Bead Head, Boots, Sure and Adidas.

Scott ChalmersScott Chalmers

Scott is a versatile photographer with a passion for all things rock and metal. He has photographed hundreds of bands in England, and works in the fields of fashion, burlesque, music, vintage, pin-up, latex and cabaret photography. His work is full of dramatic lighting, unusual angles, beautiful moments and, most importantly, attitude.

Originally trained in architecture, Scott has developed his love of the visual and combined it with his passion for music to come into the world of live music photography with more than a little experience. Influenced by such photographers as David LaChapelle, Cindy Frey, Marianne Harris and Mark Holloway, Scott brings his own twist, quite literally at times, to his photoshoots, using fisheye and strobist techniques to get the all-important winning shot.

His images appear regularly in numerous online and printed publications including Devolution Magazine, Metal Hammer, Kerrang and Bizarre to name but a few.

Darren BlackDarren Black

Darren has made a name for himself in Men’s Fashion photography over a very short space of time. Shooting for nearly all the top London agencies, he is the preferred choice of many big names when it comes to their new shoots.

His style is gritty, one could say fearless; it is bold and uncompromised. He is a man who sees beauty in everyone he shoots. His signature is the harder side of black and white , with influences of Bob Carlos Clarke and Helmet Newton.

His portfolio includes clients like Wilkinson Sword Campaign, GQ, Paper Cut, Harvey Nicolas Menswear, Toolroom Records, and Nicole Moudaber.

Neil DuerdenNeil Duerden

Neil is a self confessed Mac monkey based in a rural miners cottage 20 miles north of Manchester, UK. He is always hungry for the latest commissions and trends.

He creates pieces that combine elements from mixed media, 3D, hand rendered graphics, hyper real, real photography that together are interlaced with complex vectors to create pieces that always hit the brief for clients all around the world.

Clients include: Nike, Virgin, Sony Ericsson, Brother, Seat, Volvo, Honda, Toyota, Costa Coffee, Club Havana, Coke, Hasbro, Vodaphone, Visa, Capital One, British Telecom (BT), Channel 4, Intel, GQ and Sony Playstation.
